I’m curious to see what people would like for there own ‘ideal’ playlist they could go to and always have fun. The basic guideline for making your own playlist consists of; title, DLC requirements, teams/player counts, Maps, Game-types and voting options. You can also only use options in Halo 4 so you can’t say anything like “guardian on VIP” or “Blood Gulch on Assault”, but if you wanted your playlist could just have “Haven on Ricochet” if you just like that and nothing else. If you don’t like the voting options all together then you can use the Halo 4 Global Championship system similarly to Halo 3’s voting system.
I’ll give an example of my ideal playlist:
Title; Big Team War
DLC requirement; Crimson, Castle and Forge Island required
Teams/Player counts; 2 teams, 12-16 players, max local players 4, max party team 8
Maps; Ragnorok, Exile, Meltdown, Vortex, Complex, Settler, Longbow, Harvest, Wreckage, Shatter, Daybreak, Perdition, Outcast and 3-4 community made Forge Island BTB maps.
Game-types; Infinity Slayer, Big Team Legendary BRs, Heavies, CTF, KOTH, Big Team Oddball, Big Team Ricochet, Extraction, Team Regicide and Dominion (which only appears with 12-14 player matches).
Voting Options; All random (no ‘weights’ or ‘only in specific slots’, just completely random).
This would be my ideal playlist because of the amount of variety there would be. you would probably not play the same combination of map/game-type for at least 10 games, which would keep the playlist fresh and new.
My example is rather complex but your playlist can be as simple as you want. Even if you only like ragnorok on slayer you could have a playlist with just that, or if you wanted some more unique playlists you could make a 1v1 playlist or 16 player flood or an even wackier Action Sack playlist.
I can’t wait to see everyone’s ideas. I hope to see a lot of cool playlists being made!
