I really hope 343 can incorporate this in the final content update. Recently, we found out how to play Warzone Maps in Custom Games. Now I’m not here to talk about playing actual Warzone in Custom Games. I’m here to talk about an opportunity that could take Forge to the next level. Lately, we’ve been seeing a lot of people online in the Custom Browser play gametypes like Super Fiesta, Shotty Snipers, Infection and BTB on Warzone Maps. With this, we’ve seen that it’s possible to play on these maps without AI spawning. Now all we need is the ability to Forge on these massive maps. Just think of the possibilities. You could make some really amazing maps on these Warzone maps. Repurpose some of the areas on those maps for Slayer or CTF. You could make a really good Infection Map using the temple of Attack on Sanctum. You could make a very good Slayer/Objective map using the tunnels of Escape from A.R.C. The possibilities are endless. I hope we do get the ability to Forge on Warzone maps soon.
Yes I hope so too. Also I would like if you could play Warzone on forged maps. Forgers could place bosses at certain times, armouries, middle bases, core rooms.
This would be an interesting aspect and would definitely get me forging.
It’s a possibility for future Halo games, but it’s not going to be in scope to do for Halo 5’s lifecycle unfortunately
As awesome as it would sound, forgable Warzone maps aren’t viable (perhaps impossible) at this point in H5’s life cycle. We can hope for it in future Halo entries however, particularly Halo 6.

We can already play them in customs.(exploit)
They could just give us a limited forge budget.
I’ve wanted to forge on “urban” to fix it, since it came out. (It desperately needs fixes)

Not something to be discussed on Waypoint right now.
Forge team have said before this because apparent that WZ Customs weren’t something that could be officially supported in Halo 5’s life cycle. See Tom French’s twitter account for more details
It would definitely give a fresh feel to Warzone.

There’s still hope. We still have one more content update. Maybe in that update, we’ll have the ability to Forge on Warzone maps. It’s a longshot, but 343 might be able to pull it off. If it doesn’t happen, then yeah we’ll have to wait til Halo 6 comes out in 2 years.
