I have no problems with the gauss hog, I have problems when only one team spawns with a gauss hog.

The sheer amount of power it possesses with a skilled driver and gunner makes up for its crappy defense. But that’s because it’s a gauss hog and not a standard or rocket.

Being able to spawn with stickies and PPs makes vehicles quite ineffective.
The Gauss Hog isn’t an issue for me because I just avoid it.
Blue Team is guaranteed the Hog, and has an equal push to both Banshee and the Scorpion. Exile is just unbalanced, but the fact that the Gauss Hog can still shoot while EMPed annoys the hell out of me.

it all depends on if the driver is drunk or not. facepalm when driver drives into a ditch or a tree on exile.

the dmg that a vehicle takes needs to be reduced but there still far from paper.You can still do amazingly well with one you just have to be good.
I can see why people would find the gauss annoying since I always rack up some nice multikill medals with it, but it really is a fantastic vehicle.
Vehicles are only paper if your whole team helps take it down, however in Halo 4 no one works like a team except Full parties.
The regular Warthog is terrible due to its gun being nothing more than a glorified pea shooter, but other than that it’s a decent vehicle if you have a good friver. The Gauss Warthog, on the other hand, has an insanely powerful gun that completely ruins the balance of the map, especially since only one team has it on Exile or Meltdown in Dominion.

Well then it’s not the vehicle OP but you UP!
Vehicles ARE made of paper. Except for the Mongoose when somebody is on it. Really don’t know what happened there.
The Gauss Warthog, however, instantly kills on-foot players and will wreck a tank if they can get two shots off at it. It’s hard to get a good aim on the Gauss Hog since you would most likely get shot by it before you can get a good aim on it.
Let’s look at the underpowered vehicles:
The Tanks are horrible. Due to the Plasma Pistol being a spawn choice coupled with their slow movement and firing speed, they are extremely easy to ambush and board.
The Chain and Rocket Hogs are slightly better off, but still pretty easy to hit with the Plasma Pistol, and still pretty easy to take down, usually only requiring 2-3 Plasma Grenades.
The Banshee can be destroyed very easily with Small Arms Fire due to its low HP.
The Ghost is in the same shoes as the Banshee in that it is also vulnerable to Small Arms Fire, except unlike the Banshee it is also vulnerable to Plasma Pistols and Plasma Grenades.
Are we seeing a pattern yet?
Now, let’s look at the Gauss Hog. The Gauss Hog has moderate HP. It has moderate speed. However, it also has, RANGE and FIREPOWER. It can’t be stunned by Plasma Pistols as easily because the user will be killed before they even get close. Same applies to Plasma Grenades. And due to its moderate HP, Small Arms Fire is ineffective.
One could argue the Gauss Hog is the only balanced vehicle in the game, if not for the fact the Gauss Hog is way too effective at what it does.
