If this is going to be the official “website to go on for Halo 4 and on” then make it a little better to browse service records. I like the way bungie did it because it was easy. I’m not even sure if it’s possible to view file shares now. All I see is ranks, stats, and challenges. Where’s everything else? Right now it feels like a downgrade from bungie.net.

Also, please allow us to view Regular daily and weekly challenges without having to sign i. and I don’t mean having to use the 360 either.
The site is awesome. They said there will eventually be file shares up on here.
I still think a ‘Hate’ button is needed for the forums.
It takes some time to ‘adapt’ (ha!), but it’s just as easy as Bungie’s website.
I’ll make your mom awe- This site is already amazing!!!
Halo waypoint!!! your amazing!!! just the way you are!!! (did you read this with bruno mars voice?)

For once we agree.

Hating me seems to be something quite a few people would agree on.
I dont mind the how the site look or its features, I just hate that I have to clear cookies if I want to use it. I dont see why they dont have it work like bungie’s. that one was so good
I have to agree that for many portions of the stats section, it is more fancy looking than functionality.

my feelings exactly.
sorry about the double post

This^
Just take me to the page, I don’t need you to do some fancy pop out screen to get me there.
Also when you create a challenge, why does it jump to the top of the page every time?! So dumb. You’d think being Microsoft this website would be AMAZING. And it’s far, far worse than Bungie sadly… =/

You can always use the report button on yourself or others and someone can take care of it if you like.
OT: I think it is still a work in progress. I hope they get it worked out before Halo 4 hits. I do like how it’s laid out. However, as has been mentioned overalll it needs a bit of work yet…
This site is just all kinds of ugly. It’s too clustered and isn’t easy to navigate. This site needs to be streamlined.

Ha ha! I like this!
Having to scroll down and up constantly for your ServiceRecord creates a navigation nightmare, having a left or right sidebar for categories would make the site more usable and user friendly. This is evident on Bungie.net where the categories are on the left. The majority of professional web designers adhere to this rule for many reasons but Halo Waypoint designers preferred a slower loading page that looks pretty.
Idk why they literally just don’t take the stats from b.net and halowars.com with their looks and everything and integrate it into this site. I mean they have all the halo stat data, they wouldn’t need to create the design or anything else in regards to it. It would be so painless, easy, good looking, and fast yet they don’t…
Never really understood how this site is hard to navigate. I may think the site looks good due to me remembering what the old version looked like.

This, Don. And there’s no risk of punishment – “Report” isn’t only for rule violations.
Anyway, I agree that the Service Record could use a bigger focus on practicality than aesthetics.
The stats viewing here is definitely more difficult than bungie, and the game history is missing some of the stats that bungie.net displays (mostly seems to be objective gametype-specific things like carry time). It looks alright, but when pages load so much slower (long time to load the game details, then other loading times to view the medals or kill-specific stats) it’s not fun to use. Also on a lot of the games there seems to be some “BPR” thing that’s blank…seems incomplete. And with 343 discontinuing the API, there are lots of stats that are going to be shut down/lost soon and the stats here are nowhere close to picking up the slack for other sites.
