Make The Gravity Hammer Not Damage Teammates

I’d like to throw in my two cents to say that first of all, Grifball is pretty great in my opinion, however, the most frustrating thing that happens a lot more in Halo 5 Grifball compared to all the other Halo Grifball’s is the team killing. In my opinion, the Gravity Hammer is really easy to betray someone when you try and swing at an enemy but your ally hits them first and then the next second you accidentally kill your ally. This does happen quite a fair bit for me and then i get booted from the game having no reward such as XP or RP. I’m sure this has happened to a lot of other people and this is what is making me turn away from Grifball the most.

I’m sorry for being booted that every time I see an enemy I always try to kill them but my ally kills him first while I press RT and then I betray him and most likely get booted.

Please fix it so that no team killing can take place, then I would feel a lot more comfortable playing Grifball without knowing I could not get booted from a teammate if I hit him/her with a Gravity Hammer.

I could use swords but in my opinion I think swords are more reliable.

that happens to me as well, but I use a mixture of swords and grav hammers so it does not occur as much

Nope if you remember the past games such as Halo 3 and Halo reach you’d know why they Can’t do that as its easily for a team to exploit that by catapulting teammates with the ball to the enemy side and in Halo 5 case Ground pound it. Getting rid of Friendly fire isn’t going to make the game any fairer.

The game has always been awful for team killing. But it’s not that bad, the only problem I have is when your team-mate actually boots you for it as if it was on purpose.
