The game looks poor and runs poor. This is not what you should be expecting after waiting for 7 years for a new game. The graphics are not next gen even when scaled up. The gameplay is slow and gets boring. The maps are generic Halo maps which forces everyone to meet in the middle of each map. Everyone saying this game is great is either in denial or feels forced because we’ve been waiting for so long for this that at this point you feel like you need to like it. I’ve been playing Halo competitively since 2004 and this is not it chief. You basically just gave me Halo 5 with Halo 3 graphics.

its not a next gen game. You should real back your weirdly placed expectations. Sure its launching on next gen systems but it will always be a cross gen game until they cut support for those consoles which wont happen for at least 2 years. The game graphically looks great. It does not look photo real, but no halo ever has. Its detail on its maps and weapons/armor is great with some graphical bugs in the current test build. Optimization is not great, which is expected as they openly told us this is not an optimized build and is more about stability.

The game looks amazing, to me, as it is now. Remember how it looked a year ago? Think about how it will look at release when the kinks are buffed out.
Halo never was about the greatest grfx but Always about solid Balance and gameplay. On the other hand playing it also on series x with LG oled and im mighty impressed. Just go back to Halo 5 or COD then switch back to Infinite you will notice.

Submit a bug ticket on Insider. Attach screenshots and highlight what is the issue and what should be changed / why its not acceptable in current state.

There are already several publications in these two days where I have the feeling that they are only trying to troll and flamme in an obvious way. This is one of them.

This isn’t Halo. The maps are generic Halo 4 and Halo 5 maps which were trash. This is COD.
I will admit the first two maps had a very bland Grey and White color pallet going on, reminds me of the H4 forge maps. The Bazaar looks pretty good to me at least.
Right now H3 looks more visually pleasing to me, people will probably flame me for saying it. The Pit on H3 was all dark grey back in alpha though so I’m holding out hope the textures are also placeholder in Infinite at the moment. The graphics definitely don’t seem advanced enough to require it to run at 30fps on Xbox One.

the thing is the halo community complained about the realistic looking art style and wanted a cartoonish art style like in halo reach that’s why it looks bad
