Since Season 3 releases in November the Xmas event will be right round the corner. That will be a good opportunity to have a great event which makes people interested in all future events too. So with the Xmas event put snow on all the maps; have snowflakes falling (like Halo 5); make a snowball fight limited time mode; put xmas trees, presents, lights and decorations on all the maps and the menu screen; make some xmas themed coatings for armour and weapons; make some xmas themed charms, nameplates, etc. Go big with that event and there will be more anticipation for the events in the future.

All they gotta do is let us catch Coils in air with a grapple shot or by holding X or whatever and we got ourselves a new gametype!

You can already…you can already do that. Difficult as all hell, and I never had it happened to me, but still possible.
But Kong Slayer is a game mode that does exactly what you said. It was leaked, you can find some people playing it on Youtube, but it is spawning with Grapples and Infinite Fusion Coils.
You can grappleshot them out of the air? Now that is SWEET lol because I know you can’t catch them with your hands, you just end up becoming a part of the fireworks show lol.

XD this is the best event ever and then everyone will come back for sure, they must really do this with season 3, and it is the winter version of the Summers of Zeta event in July ( search for the ultimate vehicle models in forums )

I don’t think events for FPS games are good. There just isn’t much you can do in 15 minutes on a medium size map. Picking up weapons to get certain kills isn’t exactly eventful. That whole BRUTE AI is literally just “continue playing to unlock the next cutscene”. Its nothing amazing.
Now if you would play and there was narrative dialogue in matches, like back in Titanfall 1, it might actually be something.
Best I can do is another red weapon coating.
I’m not a huge fan of holiday themed cosmetics, but the rest of these ideas sound awesome!

You’ll get Fiesta with an orange highlight on the name and nothing else! Be sure to grind those challenges to earn your rhabdomyolysis urine colored armor/weapon coatings! For extra flare, buy one of our gray or many shades of the same shade of blue that has been released countless times.

XD I was talking about what they can do with the events in season 3 and beyond. Just giving them what SHOULD BE enough time to make these future events (including the xmas event example) better.

I agree. The events are not really events. They are just playlists that are not very fun. Halo 5 rotaional playlists felt more like events than infinite. H5 had very fun and unique playlists. Infinite needs to bring back rotaional playlists like Halo 5 had and more of the normal permanent ranked playlists. Halo 5 had fun playlists like roaming king, multi team, anniversary playlists, variations of shotty snipers and super fiesta, Christmas playlists, rockets and rail etc.
