Make the Elites and Arbiter charachters/a race we care about in Halo 4.

I think it would help the next halo trilogy if the friendship between The Arbiter and Chief were much more in depth. And I think it would be interesting to not mention the Elites too early in Halo 4.

In my opinion they should play it off as Humans and Elites lost contact with each other over some time. However I think the Elites should have a huge come back. Perhaps near the end of the game they could come in and help Humanity from extinction.

Just imagine if you barely hear about them and you just assume they are gone for good. Then the climax of the game, when you are losing some big battle, and you seem to be out gunned and out numbered SLAM BAM a huge fleet of Elite ships comes in. Chief and Arbiter fight along side each other again and it leaves us off that in Halo 5 you will have a Bro-Tier ally.

Elites.

Sounds a little cliche’d to me :I

I would love to see the Elites come back though. No Brutes though…I’ve had enough of them -_-

Yeah, super cliche. No super dino Reach Elites either, please…

Elites are the best and i hope their in halo 4. nice idea by the way The Dude Man19.
i liked the Halo 3 Elites and the Halo Reach Elites. The Halo 3 ones had the cool eyes but the Reach ones had the cool armor and colors. even though i did not like their eyes in Halo Reach their still equally great.

super dinos aren’t bad there actually kind of cool

  1. Who even said the Arbiter will be in Halo 4?
  2. Who said the Elites will be in Halo 4?
  3. Why not keep non-Chief and his journey matters in the books?

Well, I think that it’s safe to say that many here already like the Elites, but if they are to make a return, then the fact that they almost eradicated our entire species should not be a matter that is forgotten. Hopefully, Glasslands doesn’t forget this either.

Remember that Halo 4 is about John 117: The Master Chief. That’s the basic idea, there’s no way the Shangueili (Elites) would make an appearance on Halo 4, unless we find a Lab with Specimens, that would be more canon, still, i wouldn’t mind if 343 made a Halo game between H4 and H5, involving the Elites, like if Shanguelios were threaten by an something after Thel’ Vadaam’s return…

No one said they were coming back but does that mean people can’t talk about the possibility. Honestly every time someone talks about something they would like to see people say “That hasn’t been confirmed yet” or if they talk about the Covenant they say “They can’t be there!” why not? We know nothing about the game except that the Chief and Cortana are in it. People can talk about whatever they want. If someone wants to talk about the possibility of a giant green space worm that vomits car tires then so what? Let them do it. The Covenant and the Elites might be in it or they might not. For all we know the game could have every single thing from the previous games.

OT: I already care about the Arbiter and the Elites and I know many others do to, if you don’t then that’s down to you.

I don’t really see how elites would be in Halo 4 at all. The elites were going back to their homeworld, and Master Chief was drifting off in unknown space towards a forerunner planet/structure. The chances of those two being really close is almost none.

Implying 343i will forget about the one race of Aliens who saved Humanity

Implying the Humans stood a chance against the Covenant if the Elites didn’t leave

Implying the Elites wont have something to fight for since the new enemy will probably be worse then the Covenant

Implying 343i will totally forget about one of the most evolved game charachters in Halo.

Implying you could have Halo without Elites. One of the biggest problems with halo3/ODST was the LACK of Elites.

Implying Chief and Arbiter wouldn’t make an awesome charachter relationship story ontop of the Chief and Cortana and Chief and Sarge.

Ugh. No elites/covenant in Halo 4 pl0x.

The less purple in this game, the better.

Why is everyone assuming there will be no Covenant species in Halo 4?

Because they think Halo is about Chief only and that everything else is just a hologram -__-

Covenant wont exist because they have no leaders, have no ships, have no fleet, have nothing

But Pro Tip people the Covenant is full of different races of aliens. Which could all return. Wether they be simple side enemies for story or a force to be feared in Halo 4 we will have to wait and see. However Elites and Arbiter have a HIGH chance of being in Halo 4. Purple or not. I put money on them at least coming back to a degree. And if not in Halo 4 then Halo 5 and Halo 6 are far ahead…

With 343’s finishing touches I would love to see how this would play out. But the brutes belong in Halo there fore they should make a come back. What if the brutes are still pissed at the humans and sanghili but when they learn that there are greater matters to attend to they put there anger aside(for now). Also the rest of the former covenant species should make an appearance somehow, especially the grunts. Also we have all scene a lot of arbiter concepts so for Halo4 how about a new one just like chief?

I don’t see why The Sangheili WON’T be in Halo 4. It has been stated that Glasslands will have “resonant” connections to halo 4 and it has also been confirmed that Thel 'Vadam is a character in Glasslands. We will obviously have to wait and see, but I don’t see why there won’t be at least some aspect of humanities relationship with the elites elaborated on in Halo 4.

What if all the former Covenant species(but not prophets or brutes) came to help?? Then later on the brutes will help to but only because there is not much choice, near the end maybe in Halo6 the prophets will come and help to. I want to see elites grunts the most in Halo4.

Fall 2012, the greatest Intergalactic Apocalypse Preventing Duo returns in Cop-Out 2: Cortana’s Busted staring John-117 as Master Chief, and Thel 'Vadam as The Arbiter. Set 550 years after the masterpiece starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan, we find out two heroes abandoned on a planet, that seems to be uninhabited. All seems swell until mysterious things start to happen. Chief’s armor malfunctions, Arby’s sword breaks, along with a plethora of other incidents, and oddly enough, Cortana is starting to act different. Non-stop complaining about not having a family and losing time to start one starts to wear the Cheif down, so he takes off the helmet and leaves for a while. Upon his return, his helmet has mysteriously disappeared, leaving the Chief and Arby to find it and rescue Cortana.

What’s wrong with Cortana? Will Arby and Chief’s friendship be tested? What does the Chief’s face look like? How did the Arbiter even get on the planet? Questions will be answered, but even more will be made in the Mega Blockbuster Flick, coming Fall 2012.

  1. It’s pretty likely. We don’t know what happens to the Arbiter after H3 and 343i will most likely want to explain that story.
  2. Frank basically confirmed it at HaloFest, saying that the events of Glasslands will build into Halo 4. Which means ODSTs and Elites.
  3. Because its easier to keep the canon accurate if all aspects of the universe (books, comics, games) are feeding into each other.
