I think 343i should just give away the DLC at this point. The game is almost two years old and no one is going to buy it without a DLC playlist to ensure they can play it. Just make it a free download and require it for all competitive playlists. I know some people who bought will be a little miffed, but they’re already miffed and at least this way they’ll have more chances to play it.

They have Achievements tied to them, so they can’t be free.
personally instead of the free nonsense,which is never going to happen , they should make a two for one map pack sale ($10 two maps)

Awww, you’re sick of it? Too bad. I really don’t care what the reasoning is. It’s unacceptable. How is a person supposed to GET THOSE ACHIEVEMENTS if the STUPID MAPS NEVER SHOW UP?
I wish they would make it free. I’m not getting it otherwise. I have better things to spend my money on.

To be more descriptive, it is a Microsoft rule, if a game has DLC and achievements linked to it, it can’t be free, no idea why, but that’s how it works sadly.
Halo Wars & Halo 3 both still have full price DLC because of this reason.

I just paid full price a month ago, and some want it free? Hope not, pay if you wanna play.

I bought all of them when they came out, but if there is no DLC playlist then good luck playing those maps unless you play with friends who have them. If you’re playing with randoms all seven of the other people will need to have them, or 15 if you’re playing BTB, if you want to even have a chance to vote to play on those maps.
My thinking was to make them available for free and require them. Then they would come up regularly in the voting.
