The reduced bloom and bleed-through make the game so much better in mine and many others’ opinion. It’s awesome to play the Anniversary playlist because of these settings. For me, it would refresh default Reach so much, and improve it as well. If not the bloom, the bleed-through should make it into the default playlists. I don’t like how now going from Default to Anniversary playlists is like switching modes or something, with me getting used to the bleed-through from the Anniversary and getting destroyed in Default.
i think that bullet bleed through should go, it makes battles extremely inconsistent because you can tell for sure how much damage it is going to take for you to die.
85 percent bloom across the board. How can you be against an improvement for Reach? It’s not opinion or otherwise we wouldn’t TU settings or a playlist for that matter.
Anniversary settings while fun, alienate the normal Reach players (i am trying my hardest to hold myself back from flaming that crowd) and just like ZB, they can’t adapt to settings which is understandable i guess…
Don’t bet on Ann settings being 100 percent across the board. In fact, it’s not even a remote possibility giving this community. Best thing to do is keep pushing for 85 percent bloom and other TU settings.
I think a 85% bloom should be in all playlists, it makes the guns feel better, but do not put bleed through in, the reason Bungie took it out was to make the game more consistent and to quell the constant -Yoinking!- over the AR + beatdown. I enjoyed knowing exactly how close to death I was in Reach, it allowed me to play smarter when I wanted to, unlike other Halos where it was more difficult to tell if you were one shot or not. Bleedthrough with Reach’s health system is also quite flawed, as it’s effectiveness changes depending on a player’s partially regenerated health, making it even more inconsistent than the system already is.
