I know their are some that loved the armors of 4 and 5, but for me I did not, I felt to many of them were rehashes of other armors with a different skin, on it to the point that their was nothing that stood out about that armor, their was nothing special about that armor. I never got a feeling of amazement on seeing someones armor because 1: Req packs made all the armor obtainable for those that had the biggest wallet. And 2: Half the time I could not remember or even tell what people were wearing, everything was to clunky and the colors hardly stood out. Armors like Recon, Security, for the Spartans and Aztec and Commando for the Elites were memorable because they were not easy to get and they were different enough from each other to be noticeable and their designs were simple enough that they were easier to notice from a distance. We need that back, if Elites return I want to actually feel special when I unlock that rare piece of Elite armor, and dawn it with pride, or be amazed if I come across someone wearing it in matchmaking. I don’t want the armor to be bland and unoriginal again. 343 please make them simpler again, instead of giving them all this unnecessary flare.
I ould prefer it if there were fewer sets of armor, and some of them are very hard to get. I want to go into matchmaking and see a player with that rare piece of armor and feel jealous that he EARNED it before i did. Armor needs to look simple and nice again. with all of them unlocked trough playing and completing Challanges.
i agree with the different skins for every armour because you can hardly tell the difference between one another and also getting stuff from the req pack doesn’t seem like something that makes you look special, so i want them to remove armour skins and make the armour to have different attachment on them that you need to achieve from skills and how good you are at the game. Also make the armour difference much more noticeable and doesn’t look the same as other armours from further away. It just doesn’t seems more achieving.
I found many armors memorable in halo 5. but I also don’t put value in how rare or difficult to get they are to get. I just wear the pieces I think look kool. I agree the req system and the way they did armor and skins unlocks were flawed but I thought they were pretty of awesome armors in the game.
