Do you see a difference? The reticle of Halo 5 AR is way smaller. I liked it when it was bigger. It felt easy and reliable to use in 4 and now in 5 it feels just harder to use now I don’t know why it was my go to weapon in the Halo games.

as for it effecting the game play, the AR is actually better now in halo 5 then it was in halo 4. And i should know it was my go to weapon in 4 because i was actually good with it and i loved -Yoink!- people off with it. now i still can use it pretty well, and in some cases even better now to piss people off.

Sane reticles are genderless. The mechanics also aren’t the same as they were in Halo 4. The new reticle works with the new game play, now lowering the effective range of the ar on the other hand would be a good idea imo.

Awww crap. Is that why? My bad. No wonder Ghost made that joke.
A smaller reticle means the new assault rifle spreads less meaning it has better range and accuracy. The reticle is suppose to reflect where the bullets are going to go, and making it slightly bigger will make players think its spread is more so they underestimate its range.
What they did to the assault rifle is a fair buff.
The size of the reticle represents the accuracy/bullet spread on the weapon. As such, the Halo 5 AR has less bullet spread than the Halo 4 version. If they made the reticle bigger, it would be an inaccurate portrayal of the weapon’s performance.
