Had a fairly popular topic on the old forums, but since we’re starting new figured I’d make it again. Please add an option to play Recon Slayer permanently. Cues are always fast and the playlist always healthy when it’s up. This is one of 343’s best creations and additions to a classic title. The playlist is a lot of fun and a fresh but competitive take on an old formula. The balance of the pistol/smg is so perfect it’s what Infinite should have been. Give us an option in the MM menu to play all the time please.

I would settle for it being a part of the Action Sack playlist. At least then it wouldnt be completely inaccessible.

Yeah having modes locked to time periods has never been fun.
I still wish the Automag wasn’t rebalanced from ODST’s campaign, to have lower fire rate and no recoil.

Yeah, and now the SMG does a ton of damage too, i want exact ports with very minor tweaks.
I want to break their shield with SMG then swap to magnum but its a comp playlist so they have to give it skill gap mechanically or sweathards will cry.

you make no sense, shield stripping and swapping to a headshot weapon is skill gap.

you made it sound like you are against the automag being skill based.
Its been a ranked playlist, so people take it more seriously than it should be realistically, and theyre ODST weapons, which werent really that good in ODST. So they made the changes for competitives sake.
Getting a headshot is obvously more skillful than just holding trigger over a general area.
I was just hoping the guns would function like they do in ODST, since I think the dynamic would play nicely kinda like the noob combo.
In Auto Slayer you dont down shields with AR then try to use the magnum in my experience because the magnum is inaccurate, and the AR doesnt have enough range to warrant using it for shield breaking when you do have a Marksman.
I just thought it’d add more variety into the gunplay after all these years.
The way it stands rn is the same its ever been, not that it’s bad. But unless they’re close, you just use the marksman weapon, in this case, the automag.
