343 shouldn’t rush into Halo 6 not just yet. There needs to be another filler game things such as odst, reach etc. Before Halo 6 there should another story with a different kind of multi-player like in reach, this is perfect expanding the Halo universe we missed 4 years and who knows how many months, Halo:Reach through 3 was all in 1 year in the Halo story line (year: 2552 read the books as proof) so we knew what was going on at almost each time. But like what cortana said
“a lot can happen in 4 years”
This makes great ways to bring in new Halo games:
Maybe a Spartan 4 boot camp story line taking place before halo 4 , here you train, go through ogmentation, customize, fight through your new Spartan 4 , it would cool go on occasions make a fireman, or even in cut scenes it shows you customize armor, like in reach in reach you felt like the character or ODST, explore the infinity kinda like Buck’s story in the book new blood (great book on how buck became a Spartan 4)
Or how about another Covenant story line, bring back ODST’s possibities are endless!
I was also thinking that there should be a Halo 5 filler…Halo 5:______…Or a Halo game on the same engine with the same mechanics maybe improved graphics and lighting…* shrugs * maybe add add everything that should have been in Halo 5 guardians * encourages and cringes at the same time *
we’re getting Halo wars soon, and if I know Microsoft, they won’t let 2017 go by without a Halo game. I feel like Halo 3 anniversary may happen, but probably not because it is in MCC (playable on current Gen).
I’d like to know what occurred with Spartan ops and fireteam majestic, so a game that continues that story line would be much appreciated. I’d also like to see blue team chronicles. Features some big missions that blue team ran before Halo 5’s events.

I’ll be pretty upset is 3 doesn’t get an anniversary. It being on MCC is less than a sorry excuse to not make one. But also, 3 tied the first trilogy together. Be a waste not to have it.
There is Halo Wars 2, and i hope it will be good but i mean FPS, Halo Wars took place 20 years before the whole Reach invasion, and they say HW2 will be sequel to HW1.
My point is make a filler game somewhere between Halo3 And Halo5, preferably my Spartan 4 boot camp idea think its a winner
I keep wanting to see something more “historical”, i.e. further back in the timeline, to see how things came about. It may be cool to someday have a game about The Rainforest Wars or something, you know, to see how/why the UNSC became established as such a powerful force. Or it could be cool to play during the time of the Orion Project or the earliest days of the Spartans, fight the Insurrectionists, and meet the Covenant for the first time on Harvest. Heck, even going back as far as the ancient human empire could be insanely cool. I’m talking about the period where the Human-Flood War became the Human-Forerunner then Forerunner-Flood War. Playing as both humans and Forerunners would be sick, and we could see when the Halo Array was created.
I’d like a game where you fight Insurrectionists as an ODST. This would be pre-Covenant-Human War. We could bring back weapons from Halo 3:ODST, and add new weapons like the MA5K carbine and such.
Honestly, more “filler” games is the last thing I want to see in Halo - it would become a milking machine, much like what Disney has done with Marvel and will do with Star Wars, and what Ubisoft has been doing with Assassin’s Creed, for example. Plus, a lot of filler pieces then makes me feel like a series is being “cheapened”. Even though I don’t own an Xbox One and have no interest in the path Halo 5 went down, I’d rather hear that they put a good number of years into only Halo 6 (and whatever updates for H5), making it the best they can and learning from past mistakes, and so on and so forth. If they spread their energies out amongst many other games while also coming up with the final game in this new trilogy, I’d fear that H6 will suffer for it. There have been enough complaints about Halo 5’s campaign that I’d hate to hear that H6 doesn’t improve upon it.
EDIT: In addition, most people’s suggestions for game could easily be translated into novels or comics. It would feel like a waste of video game money, personally.
I’d like a Halo spin-off (btw I believe that’s the word you’re looking for) where we get to see more insurrectionist operations. Like, you play as a Spartan or a team of Spartans going on Spec-ops missions against Insurrectionist movements. We know that Insurrectionists didn’t stop their BS during the Human-Covenant war. We could follow of small team of Spartan-II’s through the game and to make the game a little bit different, it could be in 3rd-person perspective. And in between we sprinkle a bit of covenant or maybe forerunner enemies/drama to the mix.

Exactly what I was thinking. Or maybe, a game in his eyes during his campaign against humanity.
Personally getting put as a recruit and feeling as if you were the recruit made the game have a different feel and I enjoyed it highly. O.D.S.T is my top halo game and I have played many times through and through. Although being Master Chief is cool being someone you can manipulate and make your own (although that was limited in O.D.S.T) was a great aspect of that game that I would very much like to see again but made by 343. The emotions you can make happen in the Master chiefs storyline I’m positive you can pass that over into a O.D.S.T.
