Both of these playlists would be far more enjoyable if I could load them up with two or more people. I know lots of people would say that allows for teaming, ect.
But the pros of the FUN. The whole point of this game? My friends and I try to get into FFA games together.
Just let people do it already and ban griefers as they come.
I know you address this in your post, but the teaming aspect would make Rumble Pit and LSS unplayable for people who go solo. Sure, playing those modes with friends would be fun for the duos/trios, but it creates an unfair advantage to everyone else. Additionally, if two parties of four spawn into the same Rumble Pit match, it just becomes an ordinary game of Quick Play.
You know if there were more ways for people to just have fun in Infinite, we need them. Why don’t you want that? This is a solid plus for the games health, socially.
Yes, lets enable cheaters to abuse third party programs to talk to one another and team up in Free For All matches.
If you want that, allow for improvements to custom games and server browser lists so you can enable that feature there. In Matchmaking it has no business in a FFA playlist.
Negatives out weigh the benefits.
In short, the answer is just no, end of discussion.
Well traditionally parties were allowed in social FFA aka rumble put… So I would say I guess it should be allowed. As long as there is no quit penalty in FFA/LSS so when/if players come across the teams going into grief other solo players, players can just quit out. Honestly I don’t recall to many players teaming up in rumble put before. But I don’t see 343 allowing it in Infinite since it would make cheesing challenges even easier.
