I wish, but in this day and age people get offended when they discover they are not good at something and others can see that…
Well, with that said, matching CSR ranks when searching for players would counter that issue for the most part.
Not happening in 4
I think that they will inculde in-game ranks in H5, because in-game ranks will draw more people to the game (especially if they return with the social/ranked playlists), and ultimately, more people will want (need) to buy XB1 to finally play a Halo game with VIGR. Maybe that’s one of the reasons why ranks were left out in H4. They ‘starve’ us with this then announce they will be back in H5, and the whole place will be going bananas.
Not including in-game ranks in H5 would hurt -Yoink!-'s bottom line: sell the most XB1s possible.

You know, competitive stuff. Things that hurt other people’s feelings but they know are true and only want to hide it.
I’m being blunt about it but it doesn’t change the facts.
You can’t just add it to the whole game. They’d need to separate every playlist into Ranked and Social. I don’t want my CSR appearing, and I don’t want to see the rank of other players, when I’m going a social gametype. It’s just annoying and adds a level of competitiveness that is unnecessary when playing something like Action Sack, for example.
It isn’t happening in Halo 4, and we need to deal with that already. I’m certain there will be a separation of gametypes in Halo 5 with in-game ranks so just wait.

they really should’ve included it…but its to late. just hope for halo 5. they need a competitive playlist because halo needs to save the xbox one.

Ain’t this one of the reasons they decided against it? So people wouldn’t get their feelings by those better than them. Not that I’m against what you are saying. I do it a lot in other video games. Put it in keep it out I have no preference. I stopped caring about it a long time ago.

If people’s feelings get hurt over someone having a higher skill rank than them, then I could not care less about them. That’s really just sad.
