Halo is slowly and surely moving to the world of CoD. Halo is gonna end up as another bucket shooter style game when it comes to game play. I love Halo 5 but its starting to lose its Halo feel everything that made Halo…Halo. 343 gave the default control almost the same as the CoD default. Even the scope isn’t the same you just ADS, Lets call it what is people…A lie Its not smart scope. Dont piss in my face and tell me is rain. Lets just make is Official already Activision and Microsoft come together and make their new game! Future Warfare: Halo.
I completely agree. The only reason I own an xbox is for halo, has always been that way. I always get it at midnight But sadly to say this time around I accidentally bought COD with aliens with the weakest story line in the game of the entire series. Predicted the ending from the beguinning, found the legendary single player to be too easy and just annoying that you faced the same boss but just one more each time. What happened to the originality, and adventure that YOU 343 INDUSTIES BROUGHT IN TO THIS WORLD! I mean great you made a huge story to go with the game whick was ok but the hours that one had to put in to completely understand the plot is absurd. The fact that to unlock weapons, armor etc is based on basically a pay to play lottery not skill showes that you have lost your soul and your roots on what it means to be a gamer. I garentee you that lottery fuels revenue which shows the true green
under belly you have grown. YOU DESTROYED THE BR, THE SIGHTS, AND THE SENCE OF ADCHIEVEMENT YOU GET FOR UNLOCKING THINGS. I AM MOVING ON AND SO SHOULD EVERYONE ELSE. Also for every one just user the lazer targeter weapons they are overwhelmingly easier to get headshots no scope. Also I bet in the next game they will bring back the flood
Everything that I love about this franchise is absent from Halo 5, it just feels like every shooter made in the last 5 years thrown into a blender and poured into a halo cup and is really not enjoyable for me at all, the one thing that is keeping my hope alive is forge, but if things don’t change it will be my last halo game and probably mark my exit from gaming in general since I cannot wrap my head around the fact that 10 year old games have better gameplay and more substance than 2015 titles
The look of the aiming might have become more similar fo CoD, but its function is very different.
Has anyone on these forums actually played CoD?
Halo 4, at its core, played nothing like CoD. It was only called a Cod Clones because of loadouts and ordiance and the other -Yoink-. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like Halo 4, but its not a copy paste of CoD MW2. You can play Halo 4 and it still has elements that make it Halo, like longer TTK, and emphasis on Precision weapons. It was Halo with CoD elements. It was not a clone, but a genetic experiment that went wrong.

Halo 5 is a good game. It lacks content, but the content we do have is well made. I have issues, and those issues will be constantly brought up (Game modes PLLZZ)
But I enjoy Halo 5.
Next year is 2017. We will get a H3 Anniversary. Assuming it is H3 with Servers and the same gameplay but nicer looking, we will finally see if Halo’s classic gameplay will stand up to todays modern shooters standard.
