This is Just a heads up to the guys over at 343 industries, aka not hate -
I noticed you mentioned in your Infection video you (I saw it on gamespot) that you asked the community for their maps to add to the new infection playlist which will be playable at it’s launch. Whilst this is Amazing and THANK YOU for including our maps right of the bat (These things are what is going to make the community grow and thrive). However I can’t remember seeing anywhere that you where looking for maps and / or how to submit them.
So my intention with this post is mainly this : That you should consider being more “obvious” when you are seeking community created content, by maybe using the “message of the day” feature you have in H5. Or just here on the website
Also If it was noticeable, then I just missed it, But none the less I think it would be a good thing to make it more obvious to the common user.

343 doesn’t announce When they look for content, but good maps have fair odds of being noticed on Forgehub or other sites that promote user created content.
Agreed, I wasn’t aware of it either. Why not advertise it through Halo Waypoint too? Is this not the official Halo 5 forum? It’s just like how 343i sometimes tend to post through Reddit rather than here.

Yeah ! I mean of course they are free to use other sites than Waypoint, but the way that I see it, Some players don’t use waypoint and the ones that does do not necessarily know about or want to use Reddit or whatever site. Halo 5’s title screen, the xbox community feed and Halo waypoint all just seems like the perfect places to promote a healthy community through engagement with the developers on a more personal and relaxed level. 343 is headed in the right direction with their engagement with the community but it just seems to me that they are either not aware of this and missed it completely or that they are, but are not aware of the positive impact it could have.
Other than that I think 343 Should implement some sort of way of creating a space for players to engage in non ranked / serious gameplay. It would be great and it is going to be with infection, but why stop there ? An action sack playlist with game modes like “hungry hungry hippos” would be amazing !
