Make it easier to play custom games!

I hate how complicated it is to play custom games with people. For a fun minigame map you have to search for the gamertag of the creator and add him/her as a friend. Then you can create a custom game and have to invite people. Maybe i don’t have enough friends ( :frowning: ) but I find it hard to have 8 people online at a time that are all willing to join your halo game…

Therefore when creating a custom game there should be an option to invite random people. This means there has to be an option next to Arena and Warzone called “join custom game” as well - This would be totally random, i know but i think it would be fun playing on awesome forge maps as well as on really horrible ones. Also minigames!
After a match it should be made possible to download the Map/gametype you just played. That way (good) maps would spread much faster and forgers could share their creations easily.

Also there absolutely needs to be a file browser where one can search for maps and gametypes without befriending random strangers. this could be perfected with the addition of a rating system so you could find great maps fast.

Use halolobbies.com , it’s pretty much exactly what you described man!
There’s almost always decent custom games going on there, especially at popular times. For me it’s a much needed breath of fresh air from the playlists we’re given. I do agree though, it’s a shame that the community has gotten around to adding these tools before 343 has even considered it. My guess is that it doesn’t help sell req packs, so why should they bother? It’s a good thing that this community is still so strong otherwise things like this wouldn’t be possible!
