Hear me out on this, imagine if we have a place where we can go to and can walk around in it and check out multiple vendor’s? I’m pretty sure people would love the requisition system if it was introduced to us all in a perfect/creative way. Assign every vendor with a unique items they can provide, for example, you can walk up to one of the osiris team member and they tell you what you can do to earn their common- uncommon gear and you walk to one of the blue team members and they tell you what you can do to earn their rare- ultra rare gear and you can walk up to sarah Palmer and she gives the best finest legendary/mythic gear and tells you what you can do to earn them. And make a character that you can spend your reqs to buy multiple packs! You might think that it sounds like the watchtower in destiny but it’s not. A lot of games have similar places like this like the division and I can go forever and list games that they have that similar system where there is a place where you can wounder around. I’ve always liked the incredible view of the infinity and I’ve always wanted to wounder around in it, we get to see spartans in training, ODST peeps gearing up, Marines testing mantises, a lot of opportunities that can be made with this idea for future halos.
Those games are more similar to mmo’s and halo has never really been like that, so it’s very doubtful that would happen. When i clicked I thought this would be about specifically saying how much you want to sell instead of one at a time.
So with every one saying how much Halo has “copied” from call of duty you want Halo to copy from other games as well? I understand what you are saying it would put an alright twist to the game I guess. I just don’t know if it would fit in with Halo.
It sounds interesting, however then you’d have something like a hub to move around… It would be actually GREAT to be able to move onboard Infinity.
Can you imagine?
There were levels in the campaign where there was no fight - you were exploring and talking to people.
Make something similar?
Yes, please.
And if you could make a small place where you could just watch the stars, it would be welcome as well.
Also, having people telling you what you have to do to earn something would be cool too - you have many emblems that are unlocked by doing commendations and it would have been nice if you knew the details about it and other stuff.

People comparing Halo to cod is because halo became fast phase fps and if you talking about comparison, cod now are copying halo! And please read! the Spartan hub I’m describing is way different than destiny.
Kinda sounds like Phantasy Star Online’s hubs in episode 2. I can dig it.
This is an interesting idea.

I did not like those missions. These could have been cutscenes. I’m not a fan of this idea, and it doesnt mesh with the current REQ system at all.
Sounds like a great idea. Hopefully, 343i does this in future Halo games. They actually might do something like that since there were hub levels in Halo 5.
Cool idea, would definitely like to see this or something similar fleshed out in a halo game!

I personally find this system better than the one we currently have
I’m not entirely against the idea, I think it sounds interesting if it were implemented well and having areas with views of the stars etc would be a really nice touch. However, you do need to drop the “this is nothing like Destiny’s watchtower” - it is almost exactly like Destiny’s watchtower the way you’ve described it. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is extremely similar, just with a Halo skin on things. I think it does fit though, what with the Infinity apparently acting like some sort of Spartan Ops HQ
there have been many games with such hub - COD BLOPS3 for sure, Destiny as well… But A LOT earlier there were Mass Effect games where you had the SSV Normandy to run around and do mostly such stuff.
It’s like a interactive menu right? There’s a lot of potential in that.
