Well, since most players around are facing problems to watch Nightfall, here is a solution for this problem: MAKE IT FREE!
I just spend SIX HOURS on Microsoft support chat, and so far no solution has been presented. Looks like the worthless code that came with the disc copies of this game are defective, because they say some other gamertag its using it!!
And thats not possible, because I used that code. I mean… should not be possible.
So, it gona be easier if this thing its available for free already. I bet would be easier than fix this ANOTHER MCC PROBLEM, since we are almost reaching one month after launch and nothing has changed.
If you code hasn’t worked, I would contact the store you bought the game from and see if they can provide you with another one, they are really your first point of contact. Nightfall is already included in the cost of the game when you buy it, you’re only charged if you decide to purchase it separately. So when you but the game, you’re technically getting it free anyway.
Considering it is really separate from MCC (i.e. the only links it really has with MCC is the ability to launch it from UI), I couldn’t agree that it should be made free for everyone. Monies gained from Nightfall will get pulled back into the budget used to create it and hopfully fund more ventures like it in the future. I guess we’ll find out if 343i / MS will include that as part of their making up to fans.

Since 343 proved more than once that they cant fix or support their costumers, they should just give up.
What is not right, is give more problems to the buyers since they just spend u$60 in a box full of problems.
I have been watching and responding to users not getting access to Nightfall and of all the threads regarding issues, there have been maybe 1 or 2 that are still having issues. Every other user had either not entered the code, was using a capture card at the same time, or fixed it with a reboot of the xbox / reinstall of the app. 343 have provided details / troubleshooting steps on how to resolve those issues which have been passed along and helped numerous people, so they are supporting their customers.
Your issue appears to be related to the code that was provided with your copy. While it’s rare, It does happen that codes get released that simply don’t work for whatever reason. In that case, your first point of contact is the retailer you bought the product from - whether it’s a store or Microsoft if it’s digital, they should be able to work with you to resolve it. 343 are not in control of redeemable codes, that’s Xbox Live’s domain. I hope they can provide you with a new code that gets it working for you.

My problem is rare too. I own an Xbox with my brother and we got the digital bundle of the MCC. He put the code for the MCC under his account which means he can watch Nightfall but I cannot. Is there a way for me to watch nightfall on my account and Unlock the rewards. none of the solutions are working and I have gone to Xbox support 3 times! I am new to way-point and I already have made 2 topics and over 30 comments, only one does not have to do with Nightfall problems! one!
As fasr as I know and have read the code is tied to the Xbox Live account it was redeemed on, I don’t think there is any way to change that. I think you would have to purchase a separate license for your account to be able to watch it, or just watch it on his account. I may be wrong on that, but it’s what I’ve pivked up from browsing so far.

The Nightfall show is set to the account that has redeemed it, so there is not a way for you to watch Nightfall other than logging into his account. However, if you want Nightfall on your own, it is available as a stand-alone purchase and that would grant ownership to you, so that you can unlock the H5 gear. Just search for Nightfall in the Xbox One market, or follow this link on the web: Halo Nightfall

I really wish I had looked here first, thanks,but I went out and bought another MCC just to get the code because I didn’t know you could buy Nightfall separately. Well its always good to have a spare!! 
And my spartan looks normal now that he has his ODST helmet again.
