Look 343i, we all know you’re not listening and think you know better than the fans and people that post on these forums but you have to come back to reality now and this series is going to be dead because the layoff time between halo 4 and 5 for most people is going to be so long that people will not come back to the series.

MAKE THE GAME AS CLOSE TO HALO CE AND HALO 2 THROUGH THE TU AND DO IT AS FAST AS YOU EFFING CAN OR YOU’RE DONE. IT’S NOT UP FOR DEBATE, LOOK AT THE POPULATION, IT’S GOING TO BE A DEAD GAME IN 3 MONTHS NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK IF SOMETHING RADICAL ISN’T DONE.

HALO WAS A GREAT GAME BECAUSE IT ALLOWED PLAYERS TO BE INCREDIBLY CLEVER AND CREATIVE THROUGH BEAUTIFUL SIMPLICITY, REACH CUT HALO’S LEGS OUT FROM UNDER THE SERIES AND YOU LOPED THE HEAD OFF, STOP MAKING MISTAKES. RETURN TO HALOS ROOTS AND MAKE A GAME THAT FEELS LIKE HALO, BECAUSE THIS DOESN’T AT ALL. IT’S CALLLLLLL OOOOOOFFFF DDDDDDDDDDDUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTY IN SPACE. OBVIOUS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT.

please, just please, give us back that halo multiplayer magic. give us back throwing flags and working with teammates. give us back constant playlist and loving a game. Give us back that halo feeling.

I’m a halo 2 guy, but 3 is still infinitely better than this tripe we have now. I don’t know what else can be done, they literally don’t know their game is going to be dead in a few months.

NO , Most of us wanted a Halo game not some completely Overhauled gameplay that is a CoD Copy .

First of all, stop talking for all of us. You do not represent me or my desires for Halo 4, so stop acting as though you know what everybody wants. I, and many other players, do not want Halo 1 and 2 again. Yes, they are amazing games, but they’ve had their time. Halo 4, while having some flaws, is also a great game.

Secondly, if you think that 343 Industries is not listening to the fans, then you are either very ill-informed or ignorant. Just take two seconds to look in the matchmaking forum, and you’ll see a thread that shows that a competitive Halo 1-3esque playlist is coming eventually.

Thirdly, I’m gonna just answer all of your points, just because I feel as though I should comment on what you’re trying to say here.

I don’t want clans, it isn’t a necessity. Would it be nice? I guess, but many players would never use it.

The BR kills plenty fast, it’s fine the way it is. Any faster, and it would ruin the slow pace of the Halo franchise and just unbalance the sandbox even more. The DMR needs a nerf and the Carbine needs a buff, then the loadouts will be fine.

Yes… Because getting mad and insulting the employees will definitely make things change right away. The maps are fine. Sure, many of them are rather large, but the next map pack is going to be full of small maps, which are going to be great! Oh, and you see how they’re testing out Forge maps to be implemented into matchmaking? Well there’s some maps for you. We have the ability to insert community maps into the online portion of the game, why not use it?

While a visible rank would be nice, I can honestly that I don’t care if it’s there or not. A little number beside my name won’t change anything, since I still play the game and do so because it’s fun. I get that some people like the competition and like ranks, I get that. But once again, stop trying to speak for all of us.

I disagree, Ordnance Drops are a great idea and very fun. Sure, there could be some tweaking to make them less luck based, but there’s no reason to remove the idea completely. Once again, I point you towards the Matchmaking forum where there’s thread indicating the classic playlist.

While players should get out of sprint while being shot at, I do say that it should remain in the game. It allows players to move around faster and get into combat sooner. I went back and played Halo 3 a few times, and it just feels wrong not having the ability to sprint.

While some AAs like Active Camo are too good, I do quite enjoy them since I find that they add a nice breath of fresh air into the game. Variety is always nice, and I find that 343 Industries did an amazing job (for the most part) at making AAs in the game useful and balanced.

It seems to me that you’re just sad that Halo 4 isn’t Halo 1-3, as indicated by your thread title. If you want the classic Halo experience, then by all means go play it.
