I never use forge.
I havent touched it since halo reach.
So why should it have to take up so much space on my console?
Why should each update be made so much larger due to this unused content.
In future please make forge an optional update.

The mode itself doesn’t use up much space. Even if you removed forge you would have to keep all the objects that come with it so that your game works with everyone else.
That’s not going to happen, forge has been core in all full halo games since 3 with exception of halo 3: ODST as that was an add-on and wars was a spin off. Just because you don’t use it doesn’t means a majority of others don’t either. Be reasonable before posting please.

“unused”. Ever play matchmaking, ever? Most of the maps you see are Forge-made. making the option to go into forge mode would not reduce the size of your game by much… unless you also took out multiplayer and only played Campaign.

OP has a point there, but to his other point, do you really think 4-6GB is going to make that much of difference not having forge? i mean thats tiny compared to the true size of halo
They could’ve just as easy have you buy Halo 5 with Pegasus and Orion already installed and every piece that came with those maps. If this now is the case.
