Uh… you went into Legendary Warzone Firefight as your first online match. It’s not that Warzone Firefight is too difficult, it’s that you were ill-prepared for it.

Yes, only a couple of timely reqs are needed. It’s most enjoyable.

Personally, I find legendary and Mythic Firefight to be easy.The thing is to not rush alone,stay with your teammates.
Just go ahead and play Heroic for now, try out the other variations of Warzone to see if you like it, and build up your REQ collection (You have a looooong way to go, dude). Just a word of advice, do not go into Mythic. At least not now. Might be too much for you and other “Christmas Noobs” (No offense, it’s just the term that pretty much everyone uses nowadays to describe people who got Halo 5 for Christmas).
Play Heroic firefight, till you’re prepared for taking on Legendary.
Legendary is finely balanced but it requires effort and teamwork to pull through. Obviously one spartan can’t take on the entire batch of enemies…
Stick with your team, cover them, allow them to cover you. You’ll find you now have higher chances of success.
Firefight is easy and dull as it is there’s no need to make it easier. Mythic firefight is even that big of a challenge just need reqs
