Make Firefight Great Again

Please fix the respawn times. It’s ridiculous that they add a 5 second extension after each wave.

Maybe they could increase the respawn time based on the number of times you’ve died instead.

Or 3 second increases instead.

or maybe decrease after each wave because of things like 3 Wardens at a time and the entire team is in the 30 spawn time

Maybe the best thing would be basing it on deaths per wave.

It increases each time you die during a wave, but resets at the next wave.

that could be bad because sometimes you’ll get the bs of enemies spawning right on top of you or a random banshee or phaeton

no because the AI are difficult already as it is. why should we be sitting through long respawn times because of AI difficulty. I DON’T want them to change the AI difficulty, but they should not make us wait 30 seconds because of the AI are too OP.

very true, i like the idea of classic firefight too but sometimes I find classic firefight getting boring quicker than Halo 5’s

The thing is the A.I. Aren’t op or hard, they just spawn on you to much at a time (why put them spawning on people when they’re using a few station?). The point of the timer is to make people think about their lives more carefully rather than going gun ho. The idea would work “if” certain things get fixed first. There’s issue with A.I. Spawning right on you, and then there’s people who’ll respawn on the A.I. Themselves (seriously, not fun spawning on promeatheans sitting in a -Yoinking!- rocket hog lol). I’m fine with the panelty on respawns, but they need to fix the spawns first to make the panelty tolerable.

What’s real firefight? Odst never set the standard being how no other halo firefight stayed the same. Firefight is just fighting waves of enemy A.I. Which h5 does, so by that definition it is real firefight. For the record, odst and reach firefight was boring simply cuz I could camp choke points and play for countless hours in one game cuz of the flaw of dumb A.I. H5 still has dumb A.I. But since they’re so far spread out and with a timer, I can no long camp choke points for freebies which is why h5s is actually more challenging.

I do think FF needs another pass. It’s fun, hella difficult atm with how long respawning takes later in the match.
I hate that. Your going up against tougher enemies, the likely hood of you dying do to enemy’s spawning behind you and auto flanking you is increased, as is taking a massive power shot to the face (IE rockets or plasma loads or banshee bombs) and lets face it, your odds of ending up dead are nearing 75%. And then they kick you when your down by shoving a long respawn timer on you. It needs to be reduced just a little bit. Not by massive amounts but… some.
I also wouldn’t mind speeding up REQ points so we can pull out better gear faster. Up the difficulty: Okay. Make it just as hard to get better equipment as in normal Warzone when your Not facing wave after wave of enemies on Legendary setting? Not okay. There needs to be some balance.

Its ridiculous! Its like I have to actually play the game to win! I just wanna open free packs. I want my money back1!
