I switch sensitivity often from default to a custom sens of 2 horizontal and 3 vertical. It would be nice to be able to do 1.7 or even 1.75 horizontal since 1.5 is too slow.
I’ve messed around with deadzone settings but that doesn’t seem to help at all
I would highly recommend to practice with a sensitivity that you feel comfortable. i used to had alot of problems with aiming since i was recently introduced to halo. if you keep moving your settings you will not adapt your muscle memory to a certain profile. i would leave dead zones both to 0% as it just can get things worse if you dont apply the right numbers. dead zones will only make your turns not stable and you need a “smooth” turn. get a partner and practice some matches with the sensitivity that fits you most and dont change it.
That’s the thing. I’m only using two different sens settings. Default is too slow but jumping from 1.5 horizontal to 2 is too fast. Somewhere in the middle would be ideal for me I believe
I see, that small gap does make a difference. i believe if you mess around with the dead zones will only change input as a whole instead of a certain direction like in this case horizontal. try out the “slow turn” dead zone yo see if somehow stabilizes the horizontal input.
I’ll try that. Maybe default sens with a higher aim acceleration and no deadzones could work also
