Made Diamond 4 last night. Got on this morning and won two games. One of which where I only received about 1 CSR. Played another match afterward and performed very well. We lost and I got knocked down to the very beginning of Diamond 4. That’s roughly 45 mins of playing down the drain. Why did I lose so much rank when not only did I do the best on my team, I was the best in the game? This doesn’t make any sense and it’s incredibly aggravating. Happens way too often for this to just be ignored. Makes me not want to EVER touch ranked at all. I would post the screenshot of the match but you don’t allow us to post any form of media for whatever dumb reason. Please explain this wise magic to me.

Looks like it was on recharge, not aquarius fyi. You were on the losing team, so you didn’t go up. You likely lost a little rank because your team should have won on paper - your team had higher csr. I imagine your teammates lost more csr since they were ranked higher and did much worse than you.

For what it’s worth - same thing technically happens in social playlists - we just don’t see the division icons or the csr numbers.

I guess man it’s just frustrating.

Yea it’s dumb and the system is far from perfect but I wouldn’t worry too much about your csr. At diamond 4 you are already a good player, I assume you are pushing for onyx - I would assume you would get there eventually if you keep playing as it’s harder to go down than up (assuming you’re a good player).
