Make casual and competitive people happy

So we all hate armour abilities? Right. Well I have a good way of making the competitive halo gamer, and the new gen halo gamer happy. So in matchmaking you have two main playlists, one is competitive, the other casual. In competitive no armour abilities, loadout, sprint etc… Halo 1 -3 style. In causal, it’s like halo reach or 4’s. So my idea is that in casual you DO NOT GAIN ANY XP, CREDITS ETC… TO RANK YOU UP, so it’s pretty much like how in gta 5 once cheats are on, than no achievements, or saving. In competitive, YOU DO RANK UP, GAIN ACHIEVEMENTS ETC… So what this means is that both parties are happy, competitive play and rank up, and causal play for fun.
So do you like my idea?

How about we just go back to Halo 3’s system yes? Then add something that has some unlocks be XP based (so everyone can unlock them) and some be skill based (so the more competitive players have something to strive for and show off. Admit it competitors, you like having things others don’t!).

Don’t change the way the game is played because then you create a different experience entirely and you need to adjust when bouncing back and forth and that isn’t good for players who like doing both.

Let’s all face it. Halo 3’s playlists were basically perfect.

You cannot split the population in half from the get go. You immediately alienate about half the population by splitting casual and competitive.

What needs to happen is a dual ranking system. A 1-100 where 75 is about where 50 was on the 1-50 in H3, and a cR/Xp. The matches should be made based on the 1-100 rank so you are always in a somewhat competitive game, and the cR/Xp should be how you unlock things such as new armor. This should be represented by a picture(the thing that represents your cR/Xp rank) and a number(your 1-100 rank). I don’t know if the rank should be on a playlist basis like H3 or if it should be an overall rank.

This would split the population more naturally as the competitive players should naturally rise to the top of the 1-100 and casuals should be a little lower. The 1-100 should be determined by a mix of how well you do, the rank of your opponents, and if you win or lose. Winning has to play a big role in rank. Boosting is going to happen so what I recommend is a reset of the 1-100 rank every couple months. Most boosters will get bored with having to boost themselves all the time and this should weed them out.

I want to point out that some armor should still be unlocked through commendations and campaign.

i think that funny games can be started in private party… matchmaking must be like halo 2/3.

skilled player must win the HTH conflicts in a good gameplay.
