Make bosses drop legendary REQ weapons

Imagine you kill an Elite General. He drops a Vorpal Talon or a Blood of Suban. Wouldn’t it be fun if enemies dropped actual power weapons?

If enemies had rare to legendary variants of weapons in their hands, they would be more fun to fight. Not only would they be more of a challenge, the fact they drop better weapons is incentivizing.

Killing bosses is currently boring and they drop fairly standard weapons, usually not worth picking up. Commander Lochagos and the Hyrda Soldiers are the only ones that currently drop interesting weapons. Why not make all enemies have weapons worth picking up?

Kill the Warden and get a black hole gun?

I think that’s a great idea, actually.

Nothing wrong with weaponizing singularities, right?

I was expecting to come here to say “keep your destiny out of my halo,” but no; this is a solid idea to add more emphasis on boss kills.

I just wish half the enemies dropped weapons to begin with.

This is a really good idea though, and that’s not something I usually say. Those unlucky with the REQ system would still have a chance at getting to play with all the cool guns.

So far I’ve only seen the Hydra soldier drop a Hydra sometimes but other times he drops a suppressor on Battle of Noctus.

I’m pretty sure the new bosses in warzone firefight have legendary weapons.

Soldiers transform their guns based on how close you are to them.

Kill Warden and get a Void’s Tear

I agree. It would also give players who don’t have some of these weapons a chance you try them out and also make the bosses a bit more threatening.

That would be pretty cool

It would be cool if there were a legendary req based of of the warden actually.

They could always add in a req weapon based on the warden. A energy scyth comes to mind. This would defiantly change up the variety of the bosses, even more so if the weapon they dropped was randomized or based on time to kill. The longer you take to kill a boss the lower tier weapon it drops.

Yeah, I agree.

Additionally, it always blew my mind that if you killed a Banshee Raider and the vehicle was still in tact, you couldn’t use it. Or if a Wraith Officer got out of his tank, you couldn’t take it. I’d like this to change too. Players who don’t have those vehicles unlocked could try them out as well.
