Make barriers and kill boundaries deletable in Forge

I’ve seen modders get rid of those barriers and they where able to add miles to FW by doing so. Allowing them to Forge higher, longer maps.
I played on one with 9 friends, and no lag.

They should be removed. Really. Having limits of where you can and can’t go is rather annoying. If jetpack is in the game I wouldn’t care for them being in Multiplayer, however customs are far differn’t.

i made a topic about this and gain great responses and everyone who commented wanted these gone.

kill barriers should only be in MM but deletable in forge. i also used High Noon as an example with the environment outside of the map and wanting to just go and explore it.

and like they did with Halo 2 there should be invisible walls when you go to high or to far so we are given more freedom in the sandbox

This. why do we need killzones. just an invisible wall would do.

absolutely agree, I was protesting this on the Bungie forums for a while while they still controlled halo, I even think I posted a couple of times here about it, all kill areas should be delete-able when in forge (invisible barriers too, but that may be pushing it) It would allow for much more use of maps

Totally agree, but how would it work? We would still have the original map’s kill boundaries to work with for regular in map forge maps right?

The way I see it, any actual maps would have invisible walls/kill barriers. If you went into forge they would both show up transparent and you could delete them. Maps built specifically for forge would have neither by default but forgers could place them on the map. They could change their size and everything. Kill barriers would also let you change the amount of time it takes to die.

Halo 2 had easter eggs too out of the map things lol in Halo 2 Backwash i think there was an “FTW” hidden meesage. Halo 2 didnt have any wall barriers til the last 2 maps in that DLC but it was to tell players what Halo 3 was gonna be like

Personally I want barreirs to be removable in forge because in mm if there are no barriers either people will camp where no one else can shoot them and also sometimes you can be the only guy inside the map in a match so barriers on all maps should be removed via forge but eventually there should be a limit because 343 dosn’t have all the times to make all of that land
