Yes, you are so right, this is a Halo 4 forum so, we should be able to talk about Halo 4 and our opinions about it. A thread is not supposed to be locked just because some person don’t like something about Halo 4. OP is right… And criticizing is not the same as hating but every fanboy on this forum sees it like hating because they don’t share the same opinion and “talk bad” about Halo 4.
It doesn’t get locked when it’s civil criticism, which is very uncommon.

This is so false. There is an appropriate way to criticize Halo 4 and I can promise you, its not always done in these forums. Sadly, even when it is, theres always some sort of fight that breaks out that causes a mod to lock the thread. If you have an issue with a mod, feel free to contact them but I assure you they don’t lock threads because it deals with an opinion that is not in favor of Halo 4.
There are many things I disagree with but I make sure I present it to these forums in a constructive way. If I say I hate Jetpack that is my opinion that I am entitled to. Just because I say that doesn’t mean the thread will get locked.
(However this thread will get locked because the OP wants to protest…)
The mods on Waypoint do their job well and honestly, the Halo 4 forums are just every mods worst nightmare. There is always something going on.
As long as you present your argument in a constructive manner, your thread wont get locked unless others start arguing to the point past reason.
Also to everyone else, when you see a thread like this (No relevance to Halo 4 or a thread with no purpose other than complaining) Report it and move on.

Wanna know why it gets locked?
There have been hundreds of threads on it. You’re late to the party, Halo 4=CoD threads have been made in the hundreds in the past months.
Now, it isn’t productive at all. Those threads are just annoying now.
Opinions and constructive criticism is okay. But it doesn’t work if its been discussed many times before.
And, those CoD threads easily descend into flame wars. As per the forum rules, those flame wars or threads with immediete potential to start flame wars will be shut down.
If you have questions or concerns regarding the Moderators, contact them directly or contact one of the administrators, like bs angel. Don’t make an unproductive thread about it.
Edit: lol, you’re going to protest? Good luck, I doubt anyone will listen to you.

Threads that are actually constructive don’t get locked. It’s the blind rage threads (like this is) that get locked.

I can confirm this. I openly criticize Halo 4 all the time. Regardless, I’ve been commended for my attitude quite a few times. It’s never a matter of what you say, but how you say it. The trick is to be constructive and not be overly agressive with your opinions. As long as I’m polite and constructive, I can bash Halo 4 as much as I want (not that I would, but I certainly could).
