Anyone else have a majority of their BTB games as strongholds? Getting pretty sick of it. About 40-50% of my BTB games are strongholds and the rest is scattered among the others. Anyone else usually get strongholds?
Not to me. The majority of my BTB matches is either Slayer or CTF (can’t tell). I rarely get Strongholds or Assault in the rotation.
Try and stay in the postgame lobby instead of backing out so you’ll get more map variety. You might have a greater chance of getting a map that doesn’t have a Strongholds gametype on it.
It really varies man. I swear when i first started I got almost nothing but Strongholds while playing BTB, but as of lately i’ve been getting a better mix of all the gametypes.

Yeah, sometimes when I play I feel like certain gametypes and maps appear more often based on the time of day even though it’s weighted by percentage. If you don’t leave the Intermission after a match, the system is supposed to try to avoid repeat gametype/map combos so you should never play the same thing twice in a row or even nearly as frequently.
I rarely ever get BTB Strongholds. Wish I would more often, I’m so beyond tired of BTB CTF/Assault on Viking.
I usually get assault I wouldn’t mind a bit more strongholds on my end
Some days it does seem more prevalent for some reason.

Or in case this doesn’t work, back out immediately and try searching again. My friend and I despise trash like Prop Hunt and Skeeball in Action Sack and staying in the lobby gave us both games back to back… twice.
I’m actually starting to keep track of the BTB games I get and so far out of 13 games, 9 of them are either strongholds or assault, that’s about 70% of them and of those 13 I’ve only gotten 1 slayer. That’s pretty sad. I enjoy CTF and slayer but have just gotten sick of the other two.
The only BTB map that will never get old is Traffic Jam; vehicles to a minimum and action-packed.

FWIW, I played 27 BTB games this past weekend and here is the count: 7 CTF, 7 Slayer, 3 Strongholds and 10 Assault. And I have noticed that the player “engagement” with Assault is low compared to the other 3 game-types so if anything I would encourage 343 to de-emphasize Assault in the BTB playlist
