thought id start abit further down incase anyone did click on by accident

i cant be the only one thats gonna miss cortana if she’s gone for awhile?
but the cutscene with her and the chief had me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going on, it made john seem so human rather than just a suit of armor.
i havent read all the books so im not sure if this has happened but i really hope that cortana isnt gone for good and reaches the 4th stage of rampancy.

oh and when johns armor is being removed it seemed just like halo ce where its like ‘here we go were gonna finally see who he it…nope!’ as the camera moves away.

in my opinion 343 has gone far beyond what i expected from them especially the way they told the story! now ive got to wait for the next game! :frowning:

I don’t think Cortana is actually dead. There wasn’t a point where she actually stated she was going to die was there? Apart from the rampancy, but that had nothing to do with the actual disappearance of Cortana.

I hope she appears again, she’s my favourite character. Chief comes second surprisingly.

That would be like getting punched in the face. I’d rather not have Cortana return as someone who isn’t actually Cortana.

I think she ment another smart AI in general not just a straight up copy of Cortana. But if they did do that there’s a high chance cortana wouldn’t have the same feelings for chief because it is a different mind altogether.

but even a completely new ai wouldnt be the same D: ive kinda got a feeling we’ll get a new ai but we’ll get to retrieve cortana and get rid of the new one :’)

from what i gathered she mean going through the process of her creation all over again as in cloning halsey (which isnt legal, Cognitive Impression Modeling (killing the clone to make the ai) even then the ai chooses their holo form and cortana chose a younger version of halsey which mightn’t happen again
