Major software issues.

For the amount of effort Microsoft has thrown into HALO these past few years you would think they would make sure all of their pet projects are compatible…

The specific issue I’m having is that I can’t run Silverlight on my MICROSOFT SURFACE RT TABLET. That means any Silverlight related content cannot be accessed by me including HALO related content.

An oversight of this magnitude is so disappointing considering it is known Silverlight is being phased out.

What I don’t understand is why 343i would not allow streaming of content such as the FUD streamed video in multiple formats for example html5 !?

I would normally gravitate toward the excuse that this is some capitalist Microsoft BS wanting me to watch it on my Xbox for whatever reason however, I’m using their very own hardware and software. This leads me to believe that somewhere between people from Microsoft coordinating with 343s’ production team and 343 themselves, someone had a derp moment and forgot to make this content widely accessible…

Maybe the halo gods will look favorably upon me & someone from 343i will see this post, assure me its okay, and then inform me that an update will come by at some point in time.

But let’s be honest, this post will probably be buried before anyone gets to read it.

Is anyone else out there having similar issues? Better yet, has anyone heard any news pertaining to this topic?

Pretty sure that the web pages work in both Silverlight and H264 (HTML5 spec) with Silverlight being the default, but falling back to the other if Silverlight isn’t supported.
