I cannot understand how there could be so many problems with this game? It was not like this with the Halo Wars 1 game. The previous Halo Wars 2 seasons have had many problems with matches being dropped. A couple of seasons ago I had 4 matches in a row dropped while I was playing my 10 ranked matches. And this same problem occurred with many other players that I have spoken to. Now finally last season that problem was somewhat fixed and I ranked Diamond 2 in solo.
Now for some ridiculous unknown reason there is another serious problem! What is occurring now is matches played are NOT being counted! Today I started playing my solo ranked matches and I have played two matches so far. I lost the first match to a solo 50 ranked player and I won the second one. The first match I played showed up and counted but the second one did not! So my losing match was counted but not my winning one! The second match was a VICTORY but it was not counted! I was shocked when it showed that I had 9 more matches to play so I then checked on halowaypoint to see if the second match was counted. The second match was not counted and from previous experience this will not be corrected by halowaypoint at a later time or date.
What is the problem with simply making this game work properly? So now after two matches only one counted and I am at a 100% loss ratio when it should be 50/50 with one loss and one win. And these problems are NOT occurring with just a few players in fact last night a friend of mine had this same problem happen to him twice!
Don’t get me wrong I like the game a lot but it has to work right in order to be fun to play. We all know that stats are very important in this game and that is why people go to halowaypoint in order to view their stats and keep track of how they are doing compared to other players. But when matches are not being counted then the stats are NOT accurate and this makes much of the information you see here FALSE and inaccurate!
The reason I waited a few days to play my first solo match of this NEW season is because previous history has shown the start of new seasons to be full of bugs and problems. And many times a patch is needed to be implemented in order to fix these problems a few days after the new season starts. I had no idea that a serious problem like this would occur days after the new season has started!
What can’t we at least make the game work properly without MAJOR problems? I think it comes down to TESTING things out before releasing them to be played online. Please find some competent and experienced people that can make this game work like it is suppose to. I wanted to promote this game with my large following on YouTube but so far from the looks of things that won’t be happening anything soon! I am not giving up but right now I a pretty disgusted with what is occurring involving HW2. And do those involved in this game read our comments? If so I want you to succeed and get it right but my confidence level in you is pretty low right now.
