I suppose most of you heard of the 1 buck for one month and 2 bucks for 3 months gold membership that happened last year.Was it only for last year?Or has it been happening for quite some time?Happened around June.
well i do not know last year but this year in June at E3 Microsoft are annoucning the Xbox 720 so expect Xbox live gold membership prices to be slahed

Slashed I suppose,I think it will increase instead,just to fund for the 720 I suppose.But if its gonna be slashed then it would be great.

It won’t happen. There are millions of people who are willing to pay with the current system. Why change that?

Unfortunately Microsoft wont stop requiring payment. Too many people are willing to pay their fees. The only way they’ll move to a free online experience is if people stop paying for Gold accounts.
