Major Forge Issue with Lighting

Unfortunately, the 4+ hours I’ve only just begun putting into my map might be useless and unplayable, due to the light bake not working properly. The map is in space, so I’ve only achieved minor improvement with changing the scenario (so time of day isnt an option here). Even when choosing items to allow light to pass through, they still cast shadows, leaving the entire map extremely dark. Custom lighting is also inefficient, as it only works for small spaces. Using this for lighting would mean an extreme amount of lighting used for budget, which is unnecessary when I would be just fine without the addition of shadows (which would normally be nice). Also, the lighting forge allows is only suitable for indoor, small rooms, on my map the light disappears (even when distance and brightness etc are completely maxed out) after a certain distance. LIGHTING IS BASICALLY NOT THE FIX HERE. It’s always the response. What I’m pointing out is it seems light baking is not an option, and always active. Item’s currently are not allowed to have light pass through them, ruining my entire idea/map etc.
