- I got kicked from a Griffball game for betraying teammates 4 times, when all the previous games didn’t have kicks for friendly fire in Griffball, and this was of course not mentioned at all before the game.
- I played Griffball again, finished the game without betraying any teammates, then got disconnected as the game ended because that’s how Microsoft software works.
- Then I got banned for 2 minutes, but I wasn’t banned from playing warzone during that time, apparently.
- Then, I go back to playing Griffball, play one match all the way through without a problem, then play another match and I fall through the floor, into a dark hole, and remain there for the rest of the match. I replayed the clip again and it seems like I fell into the ceiling through?! I have no idea what is going on with that.
- I even recorded that with the Game DVR, but I have no idea how to share it!
- All I know is that the people in charge of all of this should never ever be allowed near computers again. This is an absolute farce. Know that unless the people playing this are die hard fans, they will absolutely stop playing this game, this is a giant farce, there’s nothing more to it. This is a serious problem for all of halo, somebody fix this now!
- Record or screencap glitches whenever you can. - Report glitches and problems like this on the support board, preferably with links to above evidence. 343 does watch that board. And if you post there, rather than here, it’s more likely it’ll get addressed. (They’ve fixed bugs I’ve reported, so somebody’s listening.)Oh and just FYI, you can access your gameDVR clips and screenshots on Xbox.com. And thus you can link to those sources accordingly.
Betrayals aren’t hard to avoid. You learn to throw off hammer shots. But yeah, the disconnects at the result screens and especially the phasing into blocks. It’s been happening more often and on more courts.
Only problem I’ve had with grifball is every 5-6 games I’ll start off going on the grav lift and just fall off the map and suicide somehow before I even make it to the arena. It’s pretty uncommon but betrayals are kind of annoying anyways.
How about your learn to play instead
I had a similar situation (#4) this past weekend. I think the arena was “Frontier”…right at the start of the match I was projected into a dark hole or room outside of the arena. I couldn’t leave, suicide, or anything…just stuck.
i still get the occasional man-cannon failure at the start of some Grifball matches. But it does look like they fixed the Blue vs. Red 2003 issue by starting everyone inside the arena instead of the man-cannon.
Not sure why they toggled up the betrayal gauge on Grifball with this last update.
Lol I somehow got a DMR kill in Griff ball according to the killfeed.

It sure does feel like they tightened betrayal parameters. I had no bans before the update and now I’ve had two since it dropped. Which is the exact opposite of what most people were asking for it seems. Oh well. Time to git gud.
