Didact fired the Composer on the space station orbiting Installation 03 and it showed all their horrific, terrifying deaths. I was not expecting that from a Halo game. srsly
Yeah, blew me away.
Also like how they use the words “composer” and “composition.”
it made me and my mate laugh so hard, they say that the next halo is meant to be darker than this one… whats that going to show!!! eyeballs melting :S haha was epic though

Either way, its not the first time graphic death has been in Halo. Keyes’ death in Halo 1 traumatized me, and the Proto-Gravemind/Brain Form, as it was called then, gave me nightmares (I was 8 at the time) and the updated CEA model was even worse. There was a Halo 3 trailer that showed a Brute ripping a Marine’s arms off, as well as the Chief literally blowing apart a Brute with a shotgun.
I thought it was hilarious. It looks like John won’t be saving THAT doctor again. So much for giving her time to pack.
Yep, it doesnt reallt scare but its not something that you expect in every halo game
I kept expecting the Chief to run into the doctor again embodied as a Promethean Knight.

Sort of reminded me a bit of the opening of the ark in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I believe it turned them all into code so he can use their “being” to create more Prometheans. They have to be broken down to raw code and rebuilt to become them.

Apparently when your killed like that your data is compiled into a computer of sorts which then changed your cells to that of promethean.
I think she says this during the slide show given by the librarian

That was 343i showing off how they built they models in H4. It was a technical achievement moment disguised as a moment of darkness. Very cool indeed.
I guess 343i wanted us to go through another Keyes/Proto-Gravemind moment.
