First I want to say, this is not me reporting the bug, I have already done that. This is just me letting others know so they can avoid the same problem.
So I’ve noticed a serious issue, if you turn ON input based matchmaking, when you next search for a game, you will instead be stuck permanently looking for a game, and you will never find one.
The two current solutions are:
Leave input and platform based matchmaking options OFF
& Let someone else host
A reminder to the admins, this isn’t me reporting the bug, just letting others know how to avoid it.

No.
That wouldn’t be the case.
Other people do not have to have that option enabled.

Ever since they added cross play if you search without cross play enabled you’ll never find a match. Sad to see but it’s just some weird bug I guess man.

I leave platform based matchmaking off so I can find loads more people, but tbh the only reason I don’t like playing mouse and keyboard people is because I always feel like they’ll find a way to cheat, but I feel like that’ll happen just with cross play anyway

There are plenty of people on console who use devices to give them an advantage. You’ll have less of a chance running into a KBM user cheating. I’m also concerned that your first thought is that KBM users cheat. A bit ignorant, don’t you think?
