I just started the game and got to the first firefight after the bridge scene. Every time I got hit the screen got brighter and brighter until it was completely white. I tried re-starting the game, even deleted it from harddrive and installed it again. I deleted the save file and tried to start a new game. Nothing works!
If I sign off the screen gets normal again, but after signing in there’s the old mess. I can just assume that there’s something wrong with the settings related to my profile but I don’t know what to do about it.
Anyone experiencing the same? Any ideas?

Sience deleting everything dosnt work, I would guess the problem is with either the game itself or your xbox. If you can play other games on yout xbox I would return the game if I where you

Thanks for your suggestions. I tried using the profile of my husband and the game works fine with it. I didn’t experience problems with other games so far.
Therefore I don’t think it’s my XBox or the game…
I will contact XBox support, maybe they’re up to the task ;-).
You got kinect plugged in?
I know it sounds weird but unplug it, there is a voice command for CEA that allows you to go brighter and darker, this maybe really stupid but that maybe triggering it.
If anyone is interested in the solution:
Something was wrong with the video settings related to my profile. I used a guest login and memorized the steps to change the settings in contrast and brightness. As soon as I changed something the screen flipped back to normal.

Seems like a reasonable solution. Or do an easier way, just turn kinect voice commands off from the start menu.
