So I just witnessed the first look at the new DLC, and from first impressions they look great.
When the first DLC came out the maps did not make me that exited, they were not very attractive and they looked very similar to previous maps.
The trailer reveals game-play, screenshots and game modes which we will be used in the playlist. The maps look a lot more awesome than the first map pack, one in space, one on top of a city construction and one in a huge battle taking place in an industrial city.
The play styles look interesting and the trailer looks awesome as a whole.
If anyone has been kind enough to take the time to read this please post your opinions but also can anyone tell me the title of the soundtrack playing in the video at 0:02:48, really like it and i am unsure of its name, thank you.
i am intrested to find out what the achievements could be since these are smaller maps
i have every halo achievement to date and am happy they are adding 10 again
They look amazing. From a visual and canonical point of view, I loved the Crimson Map pack but Majestic has those features AND great gameplay potential. Hell the only complaint I have is incredibly small. Well done 343.
> Yeah they look pretty good. Also mad props to 343 for grouping larger maps in to one DLC batch and smaller maps in to another.
They where kinda forced to make majestic maps small maps after the community rage/outcry that resulted from the crimson map pack.
Looks better than crimson. Let’s hope that 343i has learned from their mistakes with the crimson map pack. My big fear is that monolith will become another DMR spam fest.
The visuals in all three of these maps are amazing. From the gameplay vids, it seems Skyline plays very well for CTF and Monolith will be a great arena style map.
Looks great! There are also two new playlists offered strictly for those who buy the DLC (for a short time anyway before they are released to the general pop): FFA Infinity and Team DLC 4v4

I’m guessing this one done in response to the complaints about the Crimson playlist, specifically in regards to how it was always one of each map with one gametype each giving you little control over how you play. This is a good move.
