I apologize to begin with if this is a re-post, as i’m too lazy and don’t have much time atm to search for it.
I was wondering if 343 might try to do the same thing with the Majestic pack as with Crimson and have the first week free. I understand when that happened it was just a mistake through the specializations code, but I would love to be able to test the maps before buying them. I don’t know about most people but i’d feel a lot better about spending 10 bucks on the game if I was familiar with the maps.
With a small trial period you could do that. I’d rather be able to know if i’m going to like the maps before I drop money on it. As a company maybe you guys won’t care, as it’s just money for you, but I would love it if this could happen.
Very doubtfull, the only reason they had the free “trial” back with Crimson was because it was a mistake so don’t count on it bro.
Would it be nice? sure but not happening.
Microsoft screwed up when they distributed the crimson map pack. I doubt they will do it again.

There is no real point for them to give us a trial. A lot of people used the Crimson trial to get the achievements and then never bought the map pack after the trial period ended.

Because the crimson maps suck.
Most likely these maps suck too and they don’t want the word to get out as quickly this time.

Yup i did that because Crimson sucks so I am glad I didn’t have to waste my money on them.

Precisely why it would be nice for Majestic, although it’s unlikely. I’d rather not spend 10$ on maps that I might completely hate. At the same time that’s an obstacle you have to face in any FPS with dlc.
343 should start a trend of week trial dlcs

Aside from the quality of the maps, they have a very short life. 343i are truly the worst for supporting DLC. I bought the Reach DLC shortly before they decided to pull the DLC playlist. I never really got to fully enjoy the maps. Such a waste of money.
343i, we support you by buying the maps. Why don’t you do us a favour and let us play the maps!
