For me this is proof Halo 4’s main theme can’t compare with the old ones.

The old ones were simple and amazing!
Also ODST was my favourite soundtrack.
Halo 4 doesn’t have a main theme.
Actually after listening to the Halo 4…I love it. It has that "heroic"ness to it
The Halo 4 remix was quite fantastic.
I say both soundtracks(Marty and Neil Davidge) are equally brilliant. Some areas I like Marty, others I like the new guy (dat trumpet! Can you tell I play it?)
In Halo 3, they play Cortana’s theme, but with an epic choir and everything. Listen to the end of Finish the Fight. It gives me chills every time I hear it. Single best little sound I have ever heard.
Halo 4’s music is great and all but Halo 3… my god…
I prefer Halo 4: “Arrival” over the Halo 3 one, but only because I’m a drummer and Arrival has more concise drum passages. Just my opinion though.
Halo 1 or 2 or 3 or 4.

I really like 4 but it would have been more traditional to use the “monk choir/chant” like 2/3. But steve vai’s guitar intro was Beast in halo 2
