main menu and music

I’m not for sure if this would be considered a leak or not. But this is the main menu of Halo 4 along with the music. There is only a campaign option, so im guessing this was for e3.

UPDATE Thanks (DBD Shadow LK)

Menu is real, but not sure about that particular piece of music being the official for the menu. So most likely a place holder.

That doesn’t sound real to me.
The menu is real but the music not so much to me.

Well click on the link and decide, don’t jump to conclusions.

The thing is, that main menu is most likely to be fake and the music heard in the video certainly doesn’t come from the menu. If you don’t understand what I mean, just write “Halo 4 main menu” to youtube. That should give you more than a nice mix of fanmade and “real” Halo 4 main menus. Chances are, the one we’re looking at over here is one of these “real” menus.

Anyway, the music, it sounds unfitting for a menu music. From a menu music, I want serenity. Halo 2 and 3 had it right, you could just sit there and listen the peaceful music for quite some time. Reach lacked that serenity which very much made me not care about the music.

I completely understand tsassi, i’m skeptical myself. Halo 3 did have the best menu in my opinion.

I did.

The menu is real, the music is probably fake. It doesn’t sound right.

EDIT: K music is real, but still it doesn’t sound right.

You got it wrong. The music is most certainly a real, it has been on multiple official Halo 4 videos. The menu on the other hand, is something anyone with proper skills can do and most likely to be fake. You can find as well made menus all over Youtube, all made by people either for fun or in attempt to fool other people to think it’s real.

The menu is real.

ITS REAL, IT WAS IN AN IGN INTERVIEW WITH JOSH HOLMES.

Woops caps on

The menu has been seen multiple times in E3 videos, but the music that goes with the menu seems out of place. The music itself is real, it’s been heard on many occasions, but this is the first time I’ve heard it with the main menu.

Would you be nice enough to prove it to give some reliability to your words, a link to an official video with the menu is enough.

Merry Christmas

EDIT: I’m sure the main menu is subject to change before release anyways…

Thank you. I do agree with your edit. At least, the menu will certainly have some more options that just campaign. Personally, I would’ve liked to have menus with in-game objects back like in Halo CE, 2 and 3 instead of concept art, but I’m fine either way.

This is probably just a placeholder for the main menu, mainly due to the fact that this menu has all kinds of spoilery implications. Destroyed Requiem? A Halo Ring?

As far as we know, there is no Halo ring near Requiem when the Chief gets there. We know that the rings are capable of Slipspace travel. The question is, who piloted it there: ONI who’ve taken control of the ring? Someone else?

Interesting.

I doubt ONI would’ve found a way to get these rings around yet. Even if they had, I don’t understand why would they want to move them around. My bet would be on someone else. But the destruction is easy: since when would a Forerunner world not have been destroyed in a Halo game that includes one? I’m rather sure Halo 2 is the only exception to this pattern.

But who else would be able to get it there? Only humans and Forerunners can use the Halo rings. Unless someone else learned to manipulate Forerunner tech, subdue Halo’s defenses, and use it on Requiem.

Frank did say that the end of Halo 4 would have disturbing consequences for the universe at large.

Good point. However, I can’t see a reason for humans to start moving the rings around. So, if anyone has moved it, my bet is on Forerunners. However, the ring being in the picture doesn’t mean someone has to have moved it. Concept art doesn’t need to be taken literally, could be that we get to see a ring in the game. Might not be in campaign, but possibly in Spartan Ops.

What also is possible, is a plot twist where Requiem is already destroyed halfway through the game and the rest takes place on a Halo ring. In fact, a plot twist of any sorts is possible. Although, my bet is that we won’t find the ring in campaign but in Spartan Ops.

I have been a halo fan since i was 5, but to the point i know that this is a real menu with different music.
