Hey, guys. Looking for some help here. I have been enjoying unlocking magnum skins and have 34/54. However, I just hit my first gold pack that gave no permanent unlocks, only REQ points.
Where are the other twenty I am missing?

There were 5 introduced in September that require 650 wins for all of them and the rest are from paid packs like the ones for pro teams. I believe those are all the ones you might be missing, but someone can correct me below if my answer is incomplete.
There are some things that you need commendations to unlock. Mostly emblems and stuff like that. Just google search about which armor or skin you are looking for specifically. FYI there are some that only 343 gives out for doing things for the community and stuff.
As much as I can recall, with the exception of the recently added Targetmaster Commendation that awards 5 new Magnum skins for winning matches, ALL other Magnum skins are unlocked through the purchase of REQ packs… However, if you still have any other weapon skins, weapon/vehicle certifications, or Emblems, that have yet to be unlocked, you run a much higher chance of getting these as permenant unlocks are randomly generated. I would recommend buying (with REQ points) ONLY Silver packs until they no longer award you permenant unlocks. Then switch over to purchasing Gold packs… There are certain weapon skins that you ONLY get from Special REQ packs that show up randomly from time to time… These will most likely be titled “Team Packs” and cost around 120,000 REQ points… Worth it if you still need the skin but be sure to read the description and check your weapon skins to see if you really DO need them. This is going to take some time but its worth it.
