Magnum’s Rate of Fire

I know Halo Infinity is getting close but has 343 considered slowing the Magnum’s rate of fire down by a micro second?
That way the AR might actually win in close range and the BR and DMR at long range.

Definitely needs to be some change to the magnum considering it’s literally the main weapon and it can counter a close range weapon which is not ok. Also considering it’s picked over the BR and every once in a while somebody uses the DMR.

I disagree the Magnum is hard to use close range in most cases if you know how to strafe its hard for the other person to hit his shots on you and the AR wins. And the Dmr still melts the magnum at long range but the BR does need a slight buff.

Magnum has always been great the way it is. Problem was that 343i tuned the weapons back in 2017 without anyone really asking for any major changes and the update ended up breaking the entire sandbox to the point that all the core modes became extremely unbalanced and not fun to play. The other loadout weapons functioned perfectly well for their intended purpose before that update, but either became too powerful (DMR) or mathematically useless (H5BR) after it. I considered H5’s sandbox and MP as a whole to be the best in the series before the update, but that changed soon after. Just another pitfall of “games as a service.”

I am fine with the magnum as it is.
