It has barely any ammo, and the flood have some shields or better resistance so what is the point of having a magnum as a sidearm when it is completely useless it takes 5 to 6 shots to kill one flood that’s BS.
Where is the old infection where the magnum could actually kill in 1 to 2 shots and why do infected players have shields, really… might as well just make it sword slayer with shotguns. Instead of calling it Flood.
I actually enjoy the flood being stronger, it helps combat problems experienced in Halo Reach.

Don’t dismiss the magnum so soon. You can snipe with it on Complex especially. It is also useful on Haven in the wide open.
You have enough ammo to kill at least 2 kills with it, maybe three.
It’s useful. You just suck
Im the -Yoink- that doesn’t shoot a far away flood until teammates shoot it first that way I can get the headshot
Yea i love the flood being stronger, it actually gives the alpha zombies a chance
Because being infected was such a pleasure in Reach, with at first getting sniped with pistol 15 times or more and then getting shotgun blast in the stomach 15 times or more when pistol ammo ran out.
I think the Magnum needs more ammo.
