I get that people want their BR starts, but jeeze its made BTB into a sweatfest. I get Halo 5 is naturally competitive, but being pegged half way across the map by everyone is terrible. I know Warzone is 343’s BTB 2.0 but please throw us a bone and make BTB Magnum starts. If you want proof of my points, after ten games look for Viking, play Valhalla or Ragnarok, and compare the two.
Make it happen, right now BTB is sweatier than Onyx FFA
I would be completely down for 343 to enable this change to BTB for at least 2 weeks so people get a feel on the magnum starts.
Would be extremely happy if they switched to Magnum starts for BTB!

Pistol starts is stupid. I don’t play 4v4 cause of pistol starts. If btb was pistol starts it would make halo 5 not worth having at all.

I think he wants it for a couple of reasons
A) The BR has better range, has a 4sk, and more aim assist than the Magnum. This makes the game easier by not dealing with enemies as close as we use to.
B) That good ole nostalgia with the BR and the H2BR. Its been the utility weapon for most of Halo. And its wellknown and beloved by many
C) Without BR starts, power weapons would be more effective
The BRs power rewards any player regardless of skill kills around the map. Thats fine if you have to work for them, but less ease of use weaponry around the map helps gameplay. Yeah the trusted assurance of having a BR is great, but H5 wasnt built for BR starts,and BTB maps were not forged with weapon balance in mind, they were forged as remakes.Warzone was built with BR starts in mind because look at all the freakin cover. As for power weapons, you can still grab BRs,DMRs,LRs, and carbines for descope.

The reason I don’t play 4v4 is cause a pistol can’t over come any thing. Once you have control it can’t be taking away with a pistol.
Plus it makes it so much easier for spawn killing to get out of hand.
I think pistol starts would be good but I would rather have dmr starts but that’s probably just because I play to much halo reach
I’d be for this. I’d prefer searching for a BR/DMR rather than spawning with one. Makes it more fun and strategic when your team fights the enemy for the BRs
