Changed my playing style and actually had my entire fireteam with me to do this. Now, 3/4 of us are Diamond, with one of us 1 or 2 wins away from Onyx. I also changed my attitude towards the game and began playing calmer and not caring anymore about the lag I have. It happens, so you just gotta roll with it.
Yea I was glad when I past that Diamond threshold. Having a good support staff is generally a must.
Not trying to be negative but…I looked at your game history and in your last 3 games you did worst on your team and went negative or even. Maybe try to play some more FFA to work on your individual skill and do Octagon to work on your shot.

Nicely done! I’ve hit Diamond 6 before but once you get to the Diamonds level you no longer can go at it solo… it basically has to be a team of guys who know what they’re doing to compete at that level. Keep it up!

the real question is, are you having fun playing the game? What good is a high rank if it feels like work. Now if you are really having fun, then great. Just don’t stress so much about rank that you lose sight of having fun.

And who cares if you were last on the team with even or neg kd?! What matters is the win. You will see many times that pros come out on bottom of the winning team, but they still freaking win.
Currently trying to climb out of the Platinum stages and earn my 1700+ Onyx back in Swat. Congrats though.

My favorite pro is Ninja from EG, and he is rather inconsistent and usually goes negative, but he is one of if not the best on The Rig when he has a Sniper in his hands.
I’m also working on getting to diamond, but I usually play solo and do rather decent, my kda is also around 5.7 I believe.

I know for some of us it is no accomplishment to get diamond. But for others it is a pretty big deal. Let him be happy for himself. I gave him tips in my original post so that he can get better and get higher in Diamond.

These kind of responses I always wonder about. First off, you’re trivializing what this player has accomplished, so what if it is a big deal for him. Second, your nonchalant attitude toward your own ranking is unnecessary. It’s awesome that you can rank Onyx no matter what, and you “struggle” to be ranked lower, but there are those of us who struggle to be at your level.
How about instead of ridicule you start with support?

Stuff like this helps. Instead of bashing them tell them how they can get better. I didn’t come in here and say that I am champ and tell him how much he sucked. It really shows what kind of person you are if you spend your time bashing people online.
